Argentina

Argentina stretches from the Andes to the Atlantic, offering landscapes and experiences as varied as its dialects and dance steps. In Buenos Aires, the country’s capital, wide boulevards meet old-world cafés, while tango music spills out from dance halls in San Telmo and La Boca. The city pulses with energy, telling stories through its murals, its late-night steak dinners, and its fierce devotion to fútbol. Travelers can spend days wandering Recoleta’s marble mausoleums, sampling empanadas at neighborhood bakeries, or catching an open-air milonga under the stars.

Beyond the city limits, Argentina unfolds in bold chapters. Patagonia’s glacier-carved terrain offers the thunder of ice calving from Perito Moreno and the quiet hum of wind across endless steppe. In the north, the red rock canyons of Salta and Jujuy reveal ancient Incan routes and sleepy villages where traditional weaving is still done by hand. Meanwhile, the wetlands of Iberá are alive with capybaras, caimans, and marsh deer with just a boat ride away from remote eco-lodges run by local conservationists.
